2 Tips for Getting Free Publicity for Your Business

Do I Need a Business License?

One of the frequent questions I see is, "Do I need a Business License?"

This, of course, depends on your business. Requirements vary also by location, so you want to contact your local government office to see which regulations apply in your area to your specific business.

You may need just one license, or you may need more. You also may need a permit.

That said, it's not as complicated as it may sound. Your local government office can generally give you all the answers, plus forms your need to apply and instructions on the application process. Most times, you'll just fill out the forms and submit them with the licensing or permit fee.
